Home Assistant, an open-source platform for home automation with over 2 million active installations and more than 2,200 integrations, is now partnering with Sallar to bring decentralized computing to the IoT ecosystem.
Through this collaboration, a dedicated plugin will be developed to allow Home Assistant-powered devices to access Sallar’s decentralized GPU and CPU mining capabilities. This will make it possible for millions of devices to contribute computing power to the Sallar Network, earning rewards while supporting AI and high-performance computing tasks.
Once the initial plugin is launched, both teams plan to explore deeper integration opportunities, working closely with the Home Assistant Community to expand decentralized mining across a wider range of devices.
This partnership combines Home Assistant’s powerful automation ecosystem with Sallar’s scalable decentralized compute infrastructure, creating a path for massive adoption of Sallar mining worldwide.
