Today, Capcom announced its showcase, dubbed Capcom Spotlight, which will be held next Thursday at 3 PM PDT/6 PM EST/11 PM BST. The showcase will last 40 minutes and feature upcoming games such as Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Street Fighter 6.&nbsp;The Japanese video game company plans to release Resident Evil Requiem on February 27 next year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The Requiem is a survival horror game serving as the 9th release in the series. According to Capcom, the Requiem will usher in a new era of survival horror. The studio added that it will incorporate technological advancements and the development team’s experience into a story with rich characters and gameplay.&nbsp;Requiem will be playable in either first or third person, which is expected to soothe some who criticized the switch to the first-person perspective in Resident Evil 7. The trailer didn’t show any sign of Leon S. Kennedy, who fans consider the actual protagonist of Resident Evil Requiem.
