In DeFi, providing liquidity has traditionally meant juggling two tokens, picking a price range, and constantly managing your position to stay within it. Most users aren’t sure whether to go ±3%, ±5%, or just set a full range which usually leads to much lower rewards. If the price moves and your liquidity goes out of range, you stop earning until you manually adjust. And then there’s impermanent loss, the risk of ending up with fewer assets than you started with, especially when prices diverge.

Enter single-sided liquidity.

or H1 and ICHI’s automated strategy does the rest: setting optimal ranges, adjusting as needed, and earning rewards on your behalf. No need to manage complex LP positions or track market movements. With hEarn, powered by@ichifoundation, liquidity provisioning becomes simple and hands-free. You deposit just one token like $USDC

Depending on the strategy, it may also reduce your exposure to impermanent loss especially compared to providing two assets in a standard pool making it a smarter and more accessible way to participate in DeFi.

Let’s break down how it works, why it’s different, and how you can get started in just a few clicks.

What is Single-Sided Liquidity?

Traditional liquidity pools require two tokens of equal value (e.g., H1 and USDC). This setup not only doubles the assets you need but also exposes you to price divergence and impermanent loss often with complicated manual management.

Single-sided liquidity changes the game. You provide just one token into a smart vault. The strategy managed by ICHI takes care of positioning and fee optimization, so your capital stays productive without constant input. You stay exposed only to the token you believe in, earn passive rewards, and avoid the most common LP headaches.

How hEarn Vaults Work on Haven1

Haven1 leverages ICHI’s battle-tested vault system to simplify the liquidity process. Here's how it works in practice:

.Choose a Vault Pick from available vaults: $USDC, H1, $BTC(in the form of cbBTC) and $ETH

Deposit a Single Token Supply just that one token, no pairing, swapping, or rebalancing required.

Vault Deploys Liquidity Automatically Your deposit is paired with protocol-owned assets in the background and deployed into Haven1’s native DEX.

You Earn Rewards As trades occur in the DEX, you earn vault incentives.

This process is streamlined, gasless, and designed for long-term participation. You don’t need to monitor ratios or second-guess market moves. Just deposit, earn, and withdraw whenever you’re ready.

Why It Reduces Risk

One of the biggest benefits of ICHI vaults is that they help reduce your exposure to impermanent loss a major risk for liquidity providers in traditional DeFi setups.

Here’s how:

You only deposit one token, so you avoid unwanted exposure to a second, potentially more volatile asset.

Rebalancing is automated and strategy-driven, meaning it’s handled behind the scenes without draining your capital.

Your position remains productive even when prices swing, because the vault is designed to manage range and repositioning dynamically.

While impermanent loss can still occur, ICHI vaults are built to minimize it through optimized liquidity management making it a safer, smarter approach than standard dual-asset LPing.

This makes single-sided vaults a great option for users who want to contribute to liquidity without the stress of market timing or price correlation between assets.

The Bigger Picture: Liquidity That Feeds the Economy

By participating in single-sided vaults, you’re doing more than just earning yield. You’re helping fuel the entire Haven1 DeFi economy.

Your deposit:

Increases depth and efficiency of trading pairs

Reduces slippage for users swapping tokens on Haven1’s native DEX

Makes the network more attractive for developers building next-gen financial tools

It’s a win-win: you earn rewards, and the ecosystem gets stronger.

If you’ve avoided LPing because of the hassle of managing dual assets with unpredictable rewards, single-sided liquidity is your on-chain upgrade.

With ICHI vaults on Haven1, you get: ✅ Simplicity ✅ Real yield ✅ Full control of your exposure

It’s DeFi designed for real users, not just whales or trading pros. So why not put your idle tokens to work the smarter way?
