OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman has rejected a $97.4 billion takeover offer from a consortium of investors led by Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk.
ChatGPT owner OpenAI is “not for sale,” according to Altman. He and Musk were among the initial co-founders of the AI company, but a public falling out led to Musk’s departure.

Speaking on-stage at the AI Action Summit in Paris, Altman said that OpenAI has a “mission of making AGI (artificial general intelligence) benefit all of humanity.”&nbsp;&nbsp;
That comes after Musk attorney Marc Toberoff confirmed that he had submitted the bid for all of OpenAI’s assets to its board on Monday.
In a Feb. 10 response on X to Musk’s takeover bid, Altman said “no thank you.” He went on to offer to buy Twitter for $9.74 billion. Musk replied to the post on his social platform, <a href="https://x.com/brewmarkets/status/1889063075233386878" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">calling</a> Altman a “swindler.”

The AI crypto space saw its market capitalization climb 1.7% to $28.3 billion in the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. The AI agent crypto sector’s <a href="https://www.coingecko.com/en/categories/ai-agents" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">market capitalization has surged almost 3%</a> to $7.11 billion in the same period, after an even stronger bounce back the previous day.
 With this comeback for AI cryptos and the renewed attention on the sector amid Musk’s bid for OpenAI, what is the best crypto to buy now in the space? Here are three candidates that are well thought of by some analysts:&nbsp;
