Half of the top 10 DeSci projects by market capitalization were launched within the past year, showcasing the rapid growth of this innovative sector. According to CoinGecko’s data from December 30, 2024, the market capitalization of leading DeSci projects experienced significant growth throughout the year. This surge indicates that the development of the sector may still be in its early stages.

Interestingly, half of the top 10 DeSci projects have achieved remarkable status within just one year. Projects like Urolithin A, Rifampicin, and AxonDAO reached multi-million-dollar market caps in just a few months. These initiatives are transforming scientific research and collaboration through blockchain-based solutions.
