Spot Trading Volume Sees 141% Surge Last Month

The spot trading volume increased by 141% compared to October, with Upbit leading the way, having reported a massive 386% increase. Other top exchanges like BitMart and Bitfinex also saw a strong growth, with an increase of 242% and 218%, respectively.

According to a report by WuBlockchain, last month was impressive for major cryptocurrency exchanges. 

The exchanges like HTX, Bybit, and Crypto.com saw smaller yet notable increases of 69%, 74%, and 92%, respectively.

In derivatives trading, the volume increased by 97% month-on-month. Mexc had the most significant uptrend in this regard with a 186% increase, followed by Kraken with 160%, and Deribit with 151%. Crypto.com, on the other hand, witnessed slower growth in this category with a 57% increase, while Gate.io and OKX posted uptrends of 77% and 86%, respectively.

Website traffic for exchanges was also up 32% in total through the month of November. Crypto.com saw a 113% increase in traffic, with Coinbase and Upbit in second and third spot, at 85% and 82%, respectively. Exchanges that lost traffic during this time were Gate.io, OKX, and Bitget, falling 6%, 4%, and 2%, respectively.
