<p>Coinbase announced that it has just made Pepe (PEPE) available for trading to New York residents. Starting today, users in New York can now buy, sell, send, and store PEPE directly on the Coinbase platform, including both its website and mobile apps.&nbsp;<br></p>

<p>The exchange confirmed that it has received a license to engage in Virtual Currency Business Activity by the New York State Department of Financial Services. This approval expands access to PEPE for users in New York, who had previously faced restrictions on trading certain cryptocurrencies.<br></p>

<p>Meanwhile, this is just a couple of weeks after <a href="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/11/14/pepe-coin-soars-85-following-coinbase-listing-news/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase first listed PEPE on November 13</a>, 2024. Upon the listing, the token surged by almost 30%, with its price reaching $0.0000181. It was listed with other popular memecoin – Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.</p>
<p>As of now, Pepe is trading for $0.00001943, a 7% rise in the last 24 hours, with a 6% surge in market cap to 8 billion.&nbsp;</p>
