$DOGS, alongside $NOT successfully burned over 4.7 billion $DOGS tokens during their highly anticipated token burn event today. 
The event was live-streamed on the $DOGS official X account (formerly Twitter), and it attracted over 100,000 viewers.

But, despite the hype, the market reaction has been underwhelming. $DOGS is <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogs/" data-type="link" data-id="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogs/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">currently down</a> by 1.54%, trading at $0.000692, with its market cap dropping 19% to $120,207,178. 
Meanwhile, $NOT is also experiencing a similar decline. The token is trading down by 3.04%, with a price of $0.007516. Its market cap also fell by 15% to $101,789,028 according to <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/notcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">CoinMarketCap</a>. 
While the burn is an effort to manage the supply of the token, it was also an event expected to increase the value. However, it is not guaranteed.
