Following Ethereum's transition to Proof-of-Stake, Hive Digital has made a strategic decision to pivot towards AI. The company began utilizing its Nvidia GPUs for artificial intelligence workloads. 
The shift has increased equipment profitability. GPUs now generate up to $1 per hour on AI tasks, compared to $0.12 per hour when mining cryptocurrencies. 
Hive Digital is also investing in expanding its <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/crypto-miners-shift-gears-ai-is-the-new-gold-rush/">data centers</a>. There are plans to increase capacities in <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/alberta-stanovitsya-centrom-majninga-v-kanade-2/">Canada</a> and Sweden to meet the growing demand for AI computing resources.
