The Federal Hospital in Gombe, Nigeria, has issued a circular prohibiting staff from engaging in cryptocurrency mining during work hours. The management made this decision following patient complaints about staff being distracted from their duties. 
Deputy Director of Administration Adamu Tela stated that violators will face disciplinary actions. The hospital has already deployed monitoring services to ensure compliance with the ban. 
This decision reflects a global trend to limit unauthorized use of work resources for mining and underscores the need for professional ethics compliance.
