Investors thinking of buying into POX at this point might want to exercise caution. The project was recently flagged for potential market manipulation due to a large number of tokens being held in one or more unidentified wallets. 
According to <a href="https://rugcheck.xyz/tokens/mpoxP5wyoR3eRW8L9bZjGPFtCsmX8WcqU5BHxFW1xkn" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">RugCheck</a>, the top 10 holders of the token have a high ownership. The biggest holder also owns over 65% of the crypto’s supply.

The <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/news/is-it-too-late-to-buy-pox-monkey-pox-price-skyrockets-245-but-traders-rush-to-buy-this-brett-rival-as-time-runs-out" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Monkey Pox</a> price has recorded multiple higher lows on the 4-hour chart over the past 48 hours, resulting in the formation of an ascending triangle. This specific chart pattern suggests the meme coin’s price could continue to rise in the coming 24 hours.&nbsp;
If this triangle pattern is validated, POX might flip the resistance level at $0.06086 into support. A 4-hour candle close above this technical barrier in the short term might then give the crypto the foundation needed to rise to as high as $0.07890.
However, the Monkey Pox price getting rejected by the $0.06086 resistance level in the next 24 hours could put it at risk of falling to the immediate support at $0.03954. Continued sell pressure if the <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/news/5-best-meme-coins-to-buy-now-that-could-potentially-turn-1k-into-10k-turbo-doge2014-pepe-t1500-pepu" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">meme coin</a> drops to this technical crutch might then lead to POX plunging to $0.01986.

From a technical perspective, indicators on POX’s 4-hour chart suggest the altcoin’s price could keep rising in the short term. Both the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicators are showing positive signs.
Over the past 24 hours, the MACD line crossed above the MACD Signal line. Traders usually see this technical event as an indication that a crypto has entered a positive trend. With the MACD line rising above the MACD Signal line, it seems POX’s bullish momentum shows no signs of slowing down just yet.
Meanwhile, the current RSI value is above the 50 benchmark. This suggests that buyers have the upper hand against sellers. Although the RSI line’s slope has started to level off to signal a decrease in buyer strength, the ascending triangle pattern and the recent MACD crossover point to a continued rise in the Monkey Pox price.
