Massachusetts-based healthcare company Baystate Health claimed it fell victim to an email scam in November 2022, transferring $700,000 to a fake account at JPMorgan Chase.</p>

Baystate is seeking the return of the missing $420,000 plus interest.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">JPMorgan Chase has not yet made a public statement about the lawsuit. How the company will handle the situation remains a topic of interest. Such fraud incidents raise questions about how banks take precautions against fraud.</p>
