In a post on X, Teng condemned the “inhumane treatment” Gambaryan is enduring and urged for his release.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The video circulating follows Gambaryan, who <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/nigerian-court-reschedules-trial-of-detained-binance-executive/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">appeared in court</a> on September 2 for an expedited trial. The Binance executive was taken into custody in Nigeria in February 2024 on suspicion of money laundering. These allegations involve $34 million related to Binance’s operations in Nigeria.</p>
<p>Gambaryan’s detention related to Binance’s activities in Nigeria has drawn increased calls for his release as his six-month captivity continues. Further, the executive’s family is concerned about his rapidly declining health and urges his prompt release.</p>
<p>Following that, Tigran’s attorney has requested bail, but the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has opposed the motion, claiming that he is not as ill as stated, despite court-submitted health records indicating he needs surgery. The court will review the bail request on September 4.</p>
