Digital mining company Digital Shovel is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with RK Mission Critical over intellectual property (IP) rights. Digital Shovel CEO Scot Johnson revealed that the dispute arose after one of their clients, needing more capacity, contracted RK Mission Critical. Johnson alleges that RK Mission Critical then copied the majority of Digital Shovel's patented technology, a move he considers a blatant violation of their IP rights.
This case underscores the growing concerns about intellectual property within the Web3 space, particularly as the industry continues to evolve.
