<p>The TON Blockchain recently experienced a rare lag due to a surge in on-chain activity, caused by the DOGS airdrop. Around four million users claimed their DOGS tokens, resulting in a peak of over 67,000 transactions per second. This overload caused the blockchain to halt for about six hours.</p> 
<p>In response, the official TON Blockchain account on X asked validators to fill out a form to gather crucial data. This step is meant to assess the network’s ability to handle future loads and to improve performance and stability.</p>
