According to the latest reports from Lookonchain, a trader lost over $1 million today in a single transaction due to a crypto scam.

In a recent post on X, Lookonchain noted that someone created a new wallet and spent 7,156 <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/cryptocurrencies/solana/">SOL</a> worth over $1 million at current prices to buy a memecoin named MBAPPE in a single transaction.

Now, his coins are worth only $9,200, according to the same data. 
This means that the crypto trader lost more than $1 million in only 1 hour, according to on-chain data. 
A few hours ago, Crypto.com shared a <a href="https://x.com/cryptocom/status/1829024550383673723" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">post</a> via their X account, telling traders not to fall for the MBAPPE scam, explaining that the footballer’s account got hacked today. 
Kylian Mbappe Lottin is a French professional who plays as a forward for the La Liga club Real Madrid and captains the French national team. 
Wu Blockchain also<a href="https://x.com/WuBlockchain/status/1828976383265267874" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> reported</a> that that the French football star’s account was hacked and released the token MBAPPE which was eventually deleted. 
The market value of the tokens surged to tens of millions in a few minutes and then quickly returned to zero.

After the trader mentioned above lost $1 million in an hour, according to on-chain data from Lookonchain, another trader turned out luckier via the same memecoin scam. 
Lookonchain shared another post, revealing that the guy who trades memecoins like buying lottery tickets has finally hit the 4,330x jackpot.

According to their notes, the trader spent only 0.2 SOL worth around $30, and sold it three minutes later for 866.13 SOL worth around $125,160, which means a 4,330x return.

According to the same data via Lookonchain, over the past month, the memecoin fan traded 251 memecoins, investing 0.1 SOL, 0.2 SOL, or 0.3 SOL in each. He reportedly had a win rate of 35.46% and a total profit of $126,700. 
Lookonchain’s followers assume the trader might have been an insider.
