Outright Games has announced SpongeBob game, centering Patrick Star, today on Nintendo Direct August 27, 2024. Players will experience the game through the lens of Patrick Star, the adorned main character’s friend. 
‘SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star’ will launch on October 4. Players can enjoy this game on PC, PS4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.&nbsp;
The game consists of action-adventure gameplay mechanics and 3D platforming features. It will have add-ons of different vehicles and new outfits. The key actions of Patrick include paragliding, rolling and bouncing in Bikini Bottoms.
The new game follows the same pattern of previous games in which players venture in Bikini Bottoms. In this game, Patrick Star will be required to complete the challenges of SpongeBob, Squidward, and Gary the Snails.&nbsp;

As the trailer shows, the game offers a colorful and interactive environment. The players will be able to interact with various items placed in different challenges. In the new game, the famous starfish will make use of tools like paint cans and reef blowers in the treasure hunt at Bikini Bottom dump.&nbsp;

Over the years, fans have played several video games based on SpongeBob SquarePants. In these games, SpongeBob, the protagonist, is seen as the main character. It is the first time that Patrick gets the spotlight in the new release by Outright Games.
The announcement of the Patrick Star led game followed other recent announcements like the release of SpongeBob SquarePants feature in Minecraft. Previously SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottoms – Rehydrated and SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake have also been very popular with 9/10 steam ratings.
