<p>Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of the crypto exchange Binance, was recently transferred from FCI Lompoc II prison in California to a halfway house in Long Beach. This transfer marks an important step in his judicial journey, but it does not mean his complete release. CZ, who had been sentenced to four months in prison for not implementing an adequate Know Your Customer (KYC) program on Binance, still has to serve the rest of his sentence until September 29, 2024.</p>
