The Shiba Inu community has been buzzing with excitement as the long-awaited closed beta testing for the Shiba Eternity game officially goes live on Shibarium. As shared by Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, the closed beta testing is currently open only to those who have staked their LEASH tokens. Lucie explained that players who followed the team’s requirement to stake their LEASH can now connect their wallets to ShibaSwap and join the beta testing. This launch marks the start of a significant phase for Shiba Inu Beta Testing. 
The Shiba Inu team had advised players to stake their LEASH tokens as early as July 29 to prepare for this testing. Now, three weeks later, those who staked are being granted early access to the game. Lucie also noted that users who have not yet staked their LEASH still have the chance to do so and join the Shiba Inu Beta Testing.

Looking ahead, the Shiba Inu team has set September 5 as the date when Shiboshi and Shiba Eternity Lore NFT holders will gain early access to the closed beta testing. As Lucie emphasized, owning one of these NFTs will automatically grant players entry to the Shiba Inu Beta Testing by the scheduled date. 
Following this, the team plans to announce a date for the public to join the open beta testing. During the open beta, players will not be required to own or stake any assets to participate, further expanding the reach of Shiba Inu Beta Testing to the wider community.

In a series of follow-up tweets, Lucie emphasized that the new blockchain version of Shiba Eternity is not just an upgrade but a complete shift to Web3 with enhanced features. One of the most notable improvements is the integration with the Shibarium mainnet, allowing the game to feature NFT-based inventory cards. This innovation is expected to transform the gameplay experience during the Shiba Inu Beta Testing phase. 
Players participating in the beta testing will have the chance to earn rewards based on their rankings in a 15-day in-game tournament. The top 25 players will gain exclusive access to seasonal events, making Shiba Inu Beta Testing even more appealing.

Since Shiba Eternity operates on Shibarium, all in-game transactions will require BONE, the official gas fee token of the network. 
According to reports, a portion of these transaction fees will be used to purchase and burn SHIB tokens through the burn portal, aligning with the Shiba Inu community’s broader goals of reducing the circulating supply of SHIB.
