During Gamescom 2024, Microsoft announced the launch of its new Xbox Adaptive Joystick which has been designed to enable those with limited mobility to take a fuller part in video games. The joystick was displayed at Gamescom 2024 when this announcement was made, and it is considered a landmark in accessible gaming technology.
Xbox-Adaptive-Joystick, set to be launched early next year, is the Xbox controller’s standard version in a simplified form. It includes four regular buttons alongside two additional buttons for bumper and trigger commands.
