The media company is at the center of a developing takeover battle as Edgar Bronfman Jr. increases his offer to $6 billion, up from his earlier $4.3 billion bid. <br><br>This new offer, while still nearly $2.5 billion lower than Skydance Media’s tentative $8.4 billion deal, has prompted Paramount to extend its “go shop” period by 15 days.
