This year, another Harvard <a href="https://www.hbs.edu/ris/Publication%20Files/24-078_3deb075c-780b-4c05-8c0b-e13fcd2dc8b9.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">research</a> found that conversing with AI companions&nbsp;lessens loneliness to an equivalent extent as conversing with a person. Additional <a href="https://www.emerald.com/insight/content/doi/10.1108/JRIT-03-2024-0073/full/html#:~:text=By%20leveraging%20machine%20learning%20algorithms,et%20al.%2C%202020)." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">research</a> has shown that AI Companions may help with the development of social and emotional skills.
