<p>Mayowa’s journey in tech began with a solid academic foundation. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.</p> 
<p>She later added a Kellogg Executive Scholar certification in Non-Profit Management from Northwestern University, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and leadership.</p>

<p>She’s also a certified Scrum master and Scrum product owner, additionally, she holds certification in Cloud Computing, including AWS Cloud Practitioner and SnowPro Core, which underscore her commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technologies in her work.</p>

<p>Mayowa started her career as an Advanced Software Engineer at Altera in Silicon Valley. There, she quickly made her mark by enhancing software and hardware development processes. She recalls how the precision required in her work meant that even the smallest mistake could cost the company thousands of dollars.</p> 
<p>To address this, she automated repetitive tasks, which not only boosted efficiency but also showcased her innovative spirit.</p> 
<p>Her problem-solving abilities didn’t go unnoticed. Encouraged by her boss, She took a leap of faith and founded Dyvintel, a business intelligence firm. Dyvintel serves top executives in the US and Canada, offering data analytics and business intelligence solutions.</p> 
<p>Although she faced challenges in business development and marketing, her experience in ministry helped her overcome these obstacles, solidifying her impact in the tech industry.</p> 
<p>She currently serves as an advisory board member at Insights Factory, an AI and Data Analytics startup.</p>

<p>Her initiatives, such as the Career Resources and Thrive Women’s Conferences, are designed to empower individuals and communities, especially women in tech.</p> 
<h5 id="tackling-challenges-in-nigerias-tech-ecosystem" class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Tackling Challenges In Nigeria’s Tech Ecosystem</strong></h5> 
<p>Mayowa is also deeply invested in the growth of Nigeria’s tech ecosystem. She identifies key challenges such as poor infrastructure and the need for high-quality data in AI development. Additionally, securing funding without strong connections to venture capitalists is a significant hurdle.</p> 
<p>Despite these challenges, she sees immense potential in Nigeria, particularly in areas like fintech, agriculture, healthcare, education, and e-commerce. With a large, youthful population and a vibrant startup scene, she believes Nigeria is poised for significant growth and innovation.</p>
