Messaging giant, Telegram has <a href="https://telegram.org/blog/w3-browser-mini-app-store" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">announced </a>the successful launch of an in-app browser that supports decentralized websites. The new in-app “ Ton Sites” gives Web 3 accessibility to Telegram’s massive user base of 950 million. 
Ensuring easy and complete access to the app, Ton Sites is available on both mobile and desktop platforms. According to Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, “The Browser lets users switch between viewing websites and messaging, merging communication with news consumption.”&nbsp;&nbsp; 
Notably, this significant development is among the many steps in which Telegram brings decentralized applications into the everyday digital experience of the average user. 
Additionally, TON Sites, powered by The Open Network (TON), enable Telegram users to create decentralized websites. Also, by leveraging TON’s decentralized architecture, individuals and businesses have full control over their online presence, hosting their web servers for enhanced security

Extending equally, Telegram has launched a mini-app store. As the firm had earlier promised, users can now access a wide range of applications directly from Telegram. As a result, Telegram’s mini app has garnered substantial traction. Among the 950 million users, a solid&nbsp; 500 million users interact with them monthly. Among these apps, Hamster Kombat and Catizen have taken the lead in popularity compared to other apps. 
Notably, in just 4 months, Hmster Kombat,&nbsp; a crypto-based game has rapidly gained picked up steam. This crypto-based game is now boasting being one of the fastest-growing apps on Telegram accommodating a stable 300 million players. The game allows users to earn tokens by engaging with a virtual crypto exchange. 
Similarly, Catizen, a Web3 social entertainment platform, has attracted 26 million players and generated $16 million in in-app purchases since its launch in March. 
It is worth noting that both Hamster Kobat and Catizen utilize, Toncoin (TON) the native cryptocurrency of The Open Network.
