The month-on-month US CPI for June was negative at -0.1% while estimates were set at 0.1%. The core CPI inflation excluding the volatile food and energy prices is steady at 3.3% year over year, while the monthly percentage remained unchanged. The seasonally adjusted core CPI monthly rate in June was 0.1% while the market expectation was 0.2%. The price of bitcoin (BTC) jumped to $59,100 in the minutes following the report.</p>
