The broader market crashed this week as Bitcoin slipped below the major psychological level of $60K. Ethereum followed BTC, dropping below its psychological level of $3000.
The panic selling in the top cryptocurrencies widened the losses of Altcoins as few of them suffered by over 25% this week. Ethena, Notcoin, and ORDI crashed the most, losing 25 to 30% of their value in a week.&nbsp;
Optimism, Brett and Pepe followed them, but they also crashed significantly. Let’s delve deeper and analyze the top 10 losing cryptocurrencies.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-ethena-ena-strong">Ethena (ENA)</h2>
Ethena suffered the most this week, dropping over 27.4% over the week. The daily chart reflects that the crypto showed signs of weakness from the beginning of June and dropped to record lows.

The weakness in the broader markets exacerbated the bearish trend. At the time of writing, the crypto was trading near $0.37, losing over 27.4% in a week and over 61% in a month. The crypto traded close to its ATL and might continue to suffer more until the weakness prevails in the broader market.&nbsp;&nbsp;
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-notcoin-not-strong">Notcoin (NOT)</h3>
<a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2024/06/17/investors-confidence-shaken-as-gorilla-and-notcoin-suffer-losses/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Notcoin </a>reversed its course mid-June after a double-top pattern on the daily chart. The crypto turned bearish in mid-June and had been declining, falling below the 20-day exponential moving average.
Moreover, the recent crash in the broader market widened the losses in the altcoin market as the crypto price crashed below $0.0125. The outlook is bearish at the moment, which may push NOT towards lower levels.
On the lower side, the price was nearing the strong support of $0.010 from where bulls may show their strength. The market capitalization at press time was $1.06 Billion, it ranked 64th in the crypto market.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-ordi-ordi-strong">ORDI (ORDI)</h3>
ORDI slumped nearly 26.7% in a week and emerged as the third worst performer of the week. The trend had already turned bearish mid-June as the recent selloff in the broader market dragged the price below the annual lows.
The technical indicators imply a bearish outlook below the 20, 50 and 200 day EMAs, highlighting that a bearish trend prevailed. The key EMAs may turn into dynamic resistance levels if the price nears it.
On the lower side, $25 may act as a support. It ranked 92nd in the cryptoverse with a market capitalization nearing $631.88 Million. Transaction volume has dropped by 51% to $139.19 Million.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-optimism-op-strong">Optimism (OP)</h3>
OP had been in a strong bearish trend since mid-May when the price suffered a rejection from the 200 day EMA. OP fell 51.4% over the past three out of which the 42% drop in just the recent month.&nbsp;
With a drop of 24% over the week, OP emerged as the 4th worst-performing crypto of the week. The recent price crash triggered a breakdown of the psychological $1.5 level.&nbsp;
The RSI and 14 day SMA line have dropped in an oversold region, reflecting strong selling pressure.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-brett-brett-strong">Brett (BRETT)</h3>
Brett became the 5th most underperforming crypto this week, recording a fall of nearly 23.08% over the week. From a technical standpoint, BRETT was hovering above the 50 day and 200 day EMAs, reflecting the prevalence of a positive trend.

The recent fall dragged the crypto below the 20 day EMA. It still might be a buy-on-dip opportunity for the buyers as the price may, again, head for a bullish continuation.&nbsp;
On the higher side, $0.16 and $0.195 may be the short term profit booking levels for the investors. Moreover, for the price to turn bearish, it needs to break below the $0.089 level.&nbsp;
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-pepe-pepe-strong">Pepe (PEPE)&nbsp;</h3>
Pepe, a popular memecoin has attained the sixth underperformer of this week losing over 22.2%. Earlier, Pepe maintained a strong bullish trend till May 2024 and observed a growth of over 700% from March till the end of May.&nbsp;
However, the price started correcting in June and dropped by 43% from the annual highs. At the time of writing, Pepe was stuck between the 50 day and 200 day EMAs without giving clear signs of a trend.
For now, a sideways trend may prevail until the crypto till PEPE sustains between the 50 and 200 day EMAs.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-starknet-strk-strong">Starknet (STRK)</h3>
Starknet operates as an L2 network over Ethereum. It is a permissionless decentralized validity rollup that enables any dApp to achieve an unlimited number of scales for computation. Market capitalization stood at $821.34 Million as it ranked 74th in the crypto market.
STRK has been in a declining trend since April and has continuously been making record lows. The price fell over 70% over the past three months, 22% over the week and may continue to suffer more as no signs of recovery have been observed yet.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-core-core-strong">Core (CORE)&nbsp;</h3>
Core broke down a symmetrical triangle pattern over the daily chart and made a bearish reversal in the 1st week of June. The crypto emerged ranked among the top 10 weekly underperformers, recording a weekly fall of nearly 21%.&nbsp;
The bulls were dominating intraday, however, CORE needs to surpass the 200 day EMA to reclaim its bullish territory. The short term as well the long term trend favors the bears at the moment which adds to the risk of a price failure.&nbsp;
On the lower side, $0.77 level may act as a support level if the price declines. Market capitalization was $966.33 Million and it ranked 67th among all the cryptocurrencies at press time.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-lido-dao-ldo-strong">Lido Dao (LDO)</h3>
LDO was stabilizing near the demand zone after a sharp fall in the recent sessions. The daily chart reveals a price rejection from the lower levels reflecting buyers’ presence near the psychological support of the $1.5 level.
Amid the prevailing bearish trend, the selling pressure is expected to increase. The price may break below the support levels in the upcoming sessions.&nbsp;
Earlier, LDO suffered a rejection from the 200 day EMA, and displayed a bearish reversal on the chart. Market capitalization stood at $1.44 Billion and it ranked 53rd in the crypto market.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-jasmycoin-jasmy-strong">JasmyCoin (JASMY)</h3>
JASMY bounced back from the 200 day EMA intraday, rising over 17.9%. The bounce-back from the lower levels indicates the presence of buyers near the key EMA. The intraday surge indicates a recovery initiated by the bulls after JasmyCoin fell over 20% this week.

The recent price drop weakened the short term trend, however the long term trend still favors the buyers, which may attract more bulls at the dips.
On the higher the crypto may rise again till the recent highs of $0.044 if it surpasses the 50 day EMA. JASMY ranked 59th with a market capitalization of $1.23 Billion.&nbsp;
