Steam announced the release of a new horror game, Cakey’s Twisted Bakery. According to Steam, the game will be free for players who purchase it before July 7; thereafter, players will have to pay $7 or $10 CAD.&nbsp;

The popular PC game platform Steam announced the release of a new horror game from indie game developer and <a href="https://x.com/TinyMindz" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">publisher</a> TinyMindz. Steam said it is ‘bake or die’ at Cakey’s Bakery, where monsters enjoy the taste of their delicious pastries made with a secret ingredient: human children!

The developers of Cakey’s Twisted Bakery claimed that the game had over 1 million downloads 24 hours after its official launch on Steam. TinyMindz had, however, started the giveaway with 10 free Steam keys shared through their official X page on July 3. Steam also claimed that early downloaders could keep the game for free after July 7, while new players would have to pay after the deadline.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
Steam described a very straightforward gameplay guideline on its official website to give players an idea of what was happening in Cakey’s Bakery. According to Steam, the game takes you on a journey to rescue your little brother George before the ‘sweet and scary’ monsters have him for a snack.&nbsp;

Steam pointed out that players should gather specific ingredients to bake ‘pies of destruction’ to attack and obliterate particular roaming monsters in Cakey’s Bakery. The PC gaming platform also warned players that the horror game was not a ‘walk in the park’ because one wrong move could turn players into the next ‘monster meal.’ 
<h2 id="span-style-font-weight-400-cakey-s-bakery-receives-positive-reviews-span">Cakey’s Bakery receives positive reviews&nbsp;</h2> 
While it is still early to make any drastic decisions, Steam promised the game was worth adding to any player’s library. Notably, 72% of the 302 reviewers on Steam so far gave this game a positive review.

According to one reviewer on Steam, this classic first-person survival horror game allows you to explore the bakery’s dark rooms and corners, solve puzzles, hide from monsters, and use various items for survival. “Cakey’s Twisted Bakery masterfully crafts a creepy and tense atmosphere.
