In a recent interview, Notcoin’s founder Sasha addressed important steps regarding the future of the game. 
Notcoin was the first Telegram game in which all that users had to do was press a button and earn in-game currency, which later became a $1 billion token airdrop. 
The game was also the first one to pivot for this mechanic where the app offers users something for free with the notion of a possible airdrop ahead. 
Sasha said that he doesn’t expect this to last forever as it lacks sustainability. From his perspective, only games with sustainable models will eventually survive. 
He addressed more games with sustainable models, citing Catizen which generated millions of dollars in revenue. 
Regarding Notcoin, Sasha said that he plans to move the game away from the simple clicker narrative. 
He said that the plan for the next four years is for the project to become independent of the team by building sustainable and efficient subsystems. 
<h2 id="notcoin-app-s-campaigns-the-project-s-current-focus">Notcoin app’s campaigns, the project’s current focus</h2> 
Sasha said that the project is focused now on Notcoin app providing campaigns that allow users to earn Notcoin by interacting with other, newer Telegram apps. 
The goal is to become a hub for kickstarting other ecosystem projects while stimulating demand for Notcoin and burning some tokens in the process. 
Sasha expects the number of campaigns to increase up to 50-100 per week. He explained that this is like farming, but not for providing liquidity but for time and attention. 
This model allows users to be sustainable because they do not have to print more notcoins. 
He also said that other subsystems could involve contests, means of incentivizing contributors, game platforms, and a decentralized university based on AI content that is open to all. 
<h2 id="addressing-notcoin-s-airdrop">Addressing Notcoin’s airdrop</h2> 
The Notcoin airdrop took place in May and lasted until June 16. Around 90% of the supply was in users’ hands. Sasha said that now <a href="https://x.com/thenotcoin/status/1802510763224895599" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Notcoin</a> has over <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/notcoin-not-reaches-11-5m-holders-1-month-post-listing/">11.5 million</a> holders one-month post-listing. 
One of the most significant challenges of the airdrop was dealing with bots using the platform. Sasha said that the project’s priority was human actions with the airdrop, boosting the ones who have normal on-chain activities in their wallets. 
It also gave a boost to the ones who invited other users who paid for Telegram Premium and claimed that 30% of all users with Telegram Premium played the game. 
He said that eventually users who made more value for the ecosystem would get more tokens, and even if there are millions of bots, they will end up with small amounts. 
Sasha also highlighted that the game saw the most demand in Russia, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, the US, Iran, and Germany. 
Recently, the team behind Notcoin said that Notcoin does not have an owner and no new supply can be added.
