They discovered that these fraudulent sites often include crypto donation centers where unsuspecting supporters are urged to contribute. 
Additionally, scammers have replicated legitimate crypto payment systems like Coinbase, Coingate, Plisio, and Oxapay to further deceive their victims. By mimicking these payment flows, scammers make it difficult for donors to recognize the fraud.

By sending out a barrage of phishing emails and texts, fraudsters direct potential donors to fake websites, exploiting their political fervor and desire to support Trump.
