Tether, the prominent stablecoin issuer, will launch a new digital asset on June 17, as per Paolo Ardoino, the&nbsp; CEO of the company.&nbsp;

According to the most recent statistics, Tether has a market capitalization of $434,870,423,378, with a current circulation of $USDT totaling 112.5 billion. The great majority of these tokens circulate on the Ethereum and Tron networks, accounting for 97.4% of the total supply.&nbsp; 
Specifically, 58.6 billion USDT (52.1%) are on the Tron network, whereas 50.96 billion USDT (45.3%) are on Ethereum. 
The announcement of the new digital asset has generated significant buzz within the crypto community. Reactions have been mixed, with some expressing excitement over the potential for new opportunities and innovations, while others are cautiously optimistic, waiting for more details on the asset’s use case and implementation. 
Notably, some community members keep on saying that $USDT could see substantial growth, potentially reaching a value of $2, though this remains humours comment.
