On June 6, Charles Hoskinson highlighted the media’s negative portrayal of Cardano (ADA). According to media posts, Cardano’s fundamentals are weak, raising questions like ‘Will Cardano die?’.

In a tweet, Hoskinson expressed his disappointment with the profound disconnection between reality and opinion with the cryptocurrency influencer and media. He added that the media and influencers have wrong perceptions of ADA and its actual fundamentals.

At a time when the crypto market is rapidly evolving, the sector is scaling in research and development, and technologies, media posts are raising doubts about Cardano.&nbsp; 
“Cardano is here to stay and towards solving the real-world economic, political, and social issues we all face.”, Hoskinson responded. He also discussed the constitutional convention in Argentina.

On June 5, the Cardano Foundation announced its partnership with Argentina’s Entre Rios on X. The collaboration showcases Argentina’s step toward the cryptocurrency industry and the network’s move to bolster blockchain technology’s adoption.&nbsp;

Key figures, including Rogelio Frigerio, Argentina’s Minister of Interior, and Rafael Fraga, a business development specialist from the Cardano Foundation, formalized the agreement. 
Cardano’s activities indicate that the network is focused on resolving real-world applications and is unbothered by the transient hype. Moreover, Dave, an ADA development &amp; Decentralized Exchange (DEX) enthusiast, seconded Hoskinson’s views on Cardano’s progress. 
Dave listed a few of the great projects by the respective network, including DePIN, DEX aggregators, Wallets, <a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2024/01/27/avalanches-stars-arena-holds-a-strong-seat-in-socialfi-sector/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SocialFi</a>, etc. Furthermore, the community responded to Dave’s tweet and requested that some projects like the sweet Cardano NFT marketplace, Nami, Encoins, and OptimFi be added. 
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-what-about-cardano-etfs-strong">What about Cardano ETFs?&nbsp;</h3> 
The news on ADA, Solana, and XRP ETFs also highlighted Cardano’s presence in the crypto space. After the spot Ethereum ETF was approved, Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse made predictions on upcoming crypto ETFs. 
XRP, ADA, and SOL were among the top players that would soon get approval.&nbsp; 
At press time, ADA was hovering at $0.4736, after a spike of 3.33% in a day with $351,297,010 in 24-hour volume. After Cardano’s partnership announcement, a sudden surge in ADA’s price was recorded from $0.4592 on June 5 to $0.4615 on June 6.

In the past 7 days, the token hiked by 5.91%, holding a market cap of $16,890,246,949. Furthermore, a sudden surge was recorded in Total Value Locked (TVL) in 2024, spiking from $296.03 Million on January 23 to $436.33 Million on March 16, as per DefiLlama data.&nbsp; 
At press time, TVL was recorded at $262.67 Million, indicating increased investors’ trust in the Cardano network.&nbsp;
