The <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/based-brett/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Brett price</a> surged 22% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.1378 as of 4.30 a.m. EST on trading volume that skyrocketed 52% to $81.98 million.
On a weekly basis, the popular meme coin has surged 60%, while in the last month it’s the best performer among the 100 biggest cryptos with a 238% jump, according to Crypto Bubbles.
Its current price is also a new all-time high, a point reached after its listing today, June 6, on <a href="https://cryptocodes.care/b_kucoin_66064" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">KuCoin</a>, the 10th biggest crypto exchange by volume.

The project recently surpassed $1 billion in market cap, and has since surged to $1.36 billion, ranking it as the 217th-largest cryptocurrency.
<h2 id="brett-price-prediction">Brett Price Prediction</h2>
While BRETT price saw a significant increase over the last several days, there are signs that suggest that its rally might have come to an end. The token has seemingly hit its limit when it surged to $0.14, as this strong resistance is rejecting its price. While it sits at $0.1378 at the time of writing, it will likely correct further in the hours to come.
The signs of this can be seen by looking at Brett’s chart, as well as several trading signals. For example, the token’s Bollinger Bands, which saw massive widening in the past 12 hours, have started to narrow again quite sharply.
This is a bearish signal, which suggests an upcoming correction. The same can be said when looking at BRETT’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) value.

Over the past 12 hours, the project’s RSI value skyrocketed deep into the overbought zone, suggesting that traders were massively purchasing the token and pumping its price. However, once the RSI reached its limit, many immediately turned to selling in order to profit from the price pump.
With the token supply flooding the market, its price is bound to follow the decline of the RSI value, which went from nearly 90 a few hours ago to the current value of 55.54. In other words, the token’s RSI has crashed to the neutral zone, but it could possibly continue its descent toward the oversold zone if traders continue to sell.
If this happens, it will open up an opportunity to buy the dip, which many are likely to take, and potentially start another surge. However, it is equally possible for the RSI to stabilize in the neutral zone, in which case the price will likely not see a massive correction but could even return to the resistance at $0.14 to try and breach it again.
In other words, a lot of what will happen next depends on what the traders decide to do, and so far, all the signs are pointing to a mild correction rather than a severe one.
But, with the volatility of the crypto market being high and unpredictable, traders would be wise to pay close attention to technical indicators and wait for the right time to make their move.
