Alex wasn’t mincing words, accusing the market of prioritizing “onboarding retail investors so insiders can profit by selling <a href="https://www.bitdegree.org/crypto/learn/crypto-terms/what-is-scamcoin" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">scamcoins</a>.” 
His scathing remarks resonated with Billy Markus, co-creator of<a href="https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/dogecoin" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow"> Dogecoin</a>, the original meme coin. Markus echoed Alex’s concerns, suggesting the market has become a playground for people pretending to be smarter than they are.
