<p>Microstrategy’s founder and chairman Michael Saylor has agreed to a $40M settlement with the District of Columbia in the biggest-ever Income-tax fraud recovery in the district. Saylor and his company were sued in August 2022 by the D.C. alleging that the executive paid no income taxes in the district during the more than 10 years he had lived there alleging that he had avoided paying more than $25 million in taxes. However, Saylor continues to dispute the allegation of ever being a resident of the District of Columbia and settled it to avoid the burdens of litigation.</p>
