Popular DeFi platform Uniswap announced that it has postponed the FeeSwitch vote. The vote was addressing the fee change process. According to a post on the social media platform X, the process that started last week was supposed to end on May 31. However, due to <a href="https://newslinker.co" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="exclude">recent developments</a>, a decision was made to postpone the vote.

DeFi platform Uniswap caught the attention of <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/blockchain-gaming-projects-attracted-2-3-billion-investments-in-2023/" data-wpel-link="internal">Web3</a> users with its decision regarding the FeeSwitch vote. The vote, which was planned to end today, was postponed due to the sensitivity of the proposed upgrade. In a post published by the team on their official X account, apologies were extended to all users, and it was stated that any developments on the matter would be shared with the public. 
In a post published on May 24 regarding the vote, it was announced that the platform’s fee mechanism would initiate a vote to reward UNI holders who stake and delegate their assets to the platform. The team, addressing a sensitive process for the upgrade, did not specify when the vote would end, drawing criticism from <a href="https://finance.coin-turk.com/" data-wpel-link="exclude">investors</a>.
