<p>The project behind Notcoin recently made a comparison between NOT and Bitcoin (BTC), organizing a poll via X. Of the almost 30,000 participants, 86.2% favored Notcoin which has limited supply and a wide distribution, just like Bitcoin, but it’s “still cheap,” as the team<a href="https://x.com/thenotcoin/status/1794517498945274151" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> wrote</a> via X.</p> 
<p>They also made sure to highlight the fact that BTC had a $0.5 billion market cap back in 2013 when BTC was priced at around $100.</p>

<p>On May 26, Notcoin also<a href="https://x.com/then0tc0im/status/1794715338720075997" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">&nbsp;announced</a> that the NOT Airdrop Phase 1 became available and, in order to see the allocation for their airdrop, users were advised to connect with their wallets.</p> 
<p>Shortly after, on May 27, NOT saw a <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/why-notcoin-not-is-up-by-45-today/">price surge</a> of over 45%.</p> 
<p>The bullish sentiment around NOT was also driven by the introduction of a new feature called “earning missions,” which enables user to passively earn NOT tokens by engaging with partner communities and projects as well.</p> 
<h2 id="the-notcoin-saga">The Notcoin saga</h2> 
<p>Notcoin’s story began this year when the project was a social clicker game requiring players to tap a virtual golden coin in order to earn in-game currency.</p> 
<p>The NOT token is the core of the whole Notcoin ecosystem, and the coin is driven by the community, empowering users to become a part of the project.</p>

Trading began on Binance, <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/notcoin-not-listing-announced-on-bybit-and-okx/">OKX</a>, Gate.io, Bitfinex, Bitget, KuCoin, and more exchanges, as&nbsp;<a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/notcoin-not-trading-begins-today-on-multiple-exchanges-at-12-pm-utc/">revealed</a> by the team behind the project.</p> 
<p>The project’s launch was initially scheduled for April 20, during the same day when the Bitcoin halving event took place. The original launch was postponed and $NOT.</p> 
<p>The total and circulating supply of NOT at launch was set at 102,719,221,714 tokens. 100% of these tokens were made available at listing.</p> 
<p>The distribution strategy was significant for keeping token stability post-launch.</p>
