The Chainlink Automation Network is operated by the same pool of time-tested, provably reliable node operators that currently help secure tens of billions of dollars in <a href="https://chain.link/education/defi" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DeFi</a>, even during record levels of network congestion and extreme volatility. The proven infrastructure of Chainlink helps ensure that every Thunderstorm is executed on-time in a trust-minimized manner, giving users additional guarantees that it will function exactly as intended.Rain Coin is an automated store of value. 1% of all RAIN transactions are redistributed back to holders. Once per day there is a large “Thunderstorm” that gives all wallets bonus coins, even those in cold storage. The Thunderstorm tokens are locked in a smart contract with distribution tiers based on the current reward pool balance.
