Pepe (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/pepe/" target="_blank" rel="">PEPE</a>), the popular frog-themed meme coin, has continued its bullish streak, rising by more than 10%. Over the past few days, Pepe’s price has surged, reaching new all-time highs (ATHs) several times. 
In the past 24 hours, Pepe’s price jumped by more than 10%, to $0.00001577, marking a new ATH and maintaining a strong performance streak for the last three months.&nbsp; 
Despite the impressive uptick, profit-taking by sellers pushed Pepe’s price back to $0.00001501, which was still 6.64% higher than its level from 24 hours ago.

Data from CoinGecko shows that over the past week, Pepe has climbed 55.8%, and in the last month, it has soared 98.8%, reclaiming its spot as the third-largest <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/memecoin/" target="_blank" rel="">meme coin</a> by market capitalization from Dogwifhat (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/dogwifhat/" target="_blank" rel="">WIF</a>). 
Interestingly, Pepe’s price jump was accompanied by a reversal in its 24-hour trading volume, which at $1.469 billion was a 36.90% decrease from one day ago.

Despite the dip, <a href="https://www.binance.com/en-GB/markets/trading_data/rankings" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.binance.com/en-GB/markets/trading_data/rankings" target="_blank" rel="">data</a> from Binance revealed that Pepe was still one of the most traded crypto assets in the past 24 hours, only bettered by BNB Coin (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/bnb/" target="_blank" rel="">BNB</a>), Bitcoin (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="">BTC</a>), and Ethereum (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/ethereum/" target="_blank" rel="">ETH</a>).

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-major-meme-players-strong">Major meme players</h2> 
Pepe remains the top-traded meme coin, far outstripping the likes of Shiba Inu (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/shiba-inu/" target="_blank" rel="">SHIB</a>), Floki (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/floki/" target="_blank" rel="">FLOKI</a>), and Dogecoin (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/dogecoin/" target="_blank" rel="">DOGE</a>). 
But among the other major meme players, only SHIB, WIF, and Bonk (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/bonk/" target="_blank" rel="">BONK</a>) registered any green in the last 24 hours.

 <li>SHIB was up a modest 1.08%</li> 
 <li>Bonk managed an even lower 0.30%. </li> 
 <li>WIF performed much better, gaining 3.30% to trade at $2.95 at the time of writing.</li> 
</ul> 
Over seven days, the gains appear much healthier.

 <li>DOGE was up 8.71% in that period</li> 
 <li>WIF and BONK gained 16.39% and 46.78% respectively. </li> 
 <li>Floki was up 12.67% over seven days (but in the last 24 hours, it lost 0.36% of its overall value).&nbsp;</li> 
</ul> 
Overall, the best performers in the meme coin market in the last 24 hours were lower-capped coins such as Samoyed (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/samoyedcoin/" target="_blank" rel="">SAMO</a>), Cheems (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cheems/" target="_blank" rel="">CHEEMS</a>) and catwifhat (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/catwifhatsolana/" target="_blank" rel="">CWIF</a>). 
Per data from CoinMarketCap, Samoyed closed the day with a 44.71% uptick on its price, with CHEEMS gaining 33.85% and CWIF increasing by 30.09% to trade at $0.000001321.
