CorgiAI has outpaced <a href="https://cryptoticker.io/en/token/PEPE">Pepecoin</a>, Memecoin, and TRUMP, experiencing a 60% increase in the last 24 hours and a 102% rise over the past week. Boasting a market capitalization of over $800 million, as reported by CronoScan, CorgiAI is now close to overtaking Book of Meme.
This figure aligns with reports from CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap, though the latter notes it has been self-reported by CorgiAI (CORGIAI) and not verified. Meme coins are inherently volatile, and since its creation a year ago, CorgiAI has experienced similarly significant fluctuations three times. Additionally, according to <a href="https://gopluslabs.io/token-security/25/0x6b431B8a964BFcf28191b07c91189fF4403957D0">GoPlusLabs</a>, CorgiAI's smart contract includes a mint function, allowing for the creation of more tokens. Investors should proceed with caution.
<h2 id="what-is-corgiai">What is CorgiAI?</h2>
CorgiAI stands out as a community-powered meme coin within the Cronos network, with a mission to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) in developing innovative tools. A prime example of this initiative is the Corgi Cre8r, an NFT text-to-image AI generator.
Cronos operates as a layer-1 blockchain, offering interoperability with Ethereum and Cosmos. Developed through a collaboration between Crypto.com and Cronos Labs, Cronos boasts its native CRO token, currently valued at a market cap of $3.4 million according to CoinGecko.
While Cronos has been in existence for some time, it has remained relatively subdued in the realm of meme coins. To address this, the network launched a campaign aimed at promoting its native meme coins, enticing users with opportunities to earn token rewards and exclusive NFTs.
In the "Cronos Spring Odyssey: Memecoin Trails," participants were tasked with a series of actions, including following the token's Twitter account, liking and retweeting a post, and purchasing and holding $5 worth of CorgiAI. Since the inception of this campaign, the token's value has surged by 97%, as reported by CoinGecko. Consequently, it has ascended to become the fifth-largest token on Cronos, trailing only USDC, Wrapped Bitcoin, Maker stablecoin DAI, and the network's native CRO. Out of the 10 tokens included in the campaign, CorgiAI experienced the most substantial gains.
