<p>In detail, VeChain’s Communications Lead and Community Advocate, Jake shares an interesting meeting at the <a href="https://www.parliament.uk/business/lords/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">House of Lords</a> with Baroness Manzila Uddin. He says he was in a room of investors, experts, and lawyers all discussing the UK policy on Web3 and metaverse.</p>
<p>During this insightful meeting, Jake says he got to represent VeChain (VET) and business blockchain activity in the UK. He says he is pleased to see the British government showing interest in this news tech field and shares his gratitude for the opportunity to speak with these policy makers.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Indeed, this is a big move for crypto in the UK as the meeting alone is a sign of the tides turning for a new chapter in the UK’s digital economy. The transition to usher in this new crypto age for the UK is on its way according to Jake. He says a lot of funding, hundreds of millions, is being poured into this incredible transition for crypto in the UK.&nbsp;</p>
<p>He concludes by saying VET and other passionate crypto projects will soon make their way into the industrial and economic digital revolution led by blockchain technology in the UK very soon. He also marks how the UK elections are just around the corner and how this could accelerate crypto adoption in the UK.</p>
