NetBSD has <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/@netbsd/112446618914747900" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">updated</a> its commit policy to reject AI codes attributed to ChatGPT or Copilot, calling them tainted because of their licensing issues.&nbsp;

This policy prevents code from being included with incompatible licenses in the NetBSD codebase. The core developer from NetBSD stated that the new policy would eliminate all licensing problems in the codebase, and&nbsp;code integrity would remain the best.
