Tether, the largest stablecoin company, unveiled its new partnership with Oobit, a mobile payment app, and the TON Foundation on Friday. This collaboration aims to change the cryptocurrency payments industry by giving users a smooth and simple way of transferring money.

In the framework of this partnership, Tether has recently introduced its stablecoins, USD₮, and XAU₮ on the <a href="https://coingape.com/telegram-to-tokenize-emojis-and-stickers-on-ton-blockchain/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">TON blockchain</a>. This step will make it easier for the TON ecosystem members to transfer between themselves, thus ensuring a quick, safe, and cheap transaction process.&nbsp;
After the launch, more than $200 million worth of USD₮ has been issued on the TON blockchain. This innovation allows users to send USD₮ through Telegram and use it for instant crypto Tap payments on Oobit, strengthening Tether’s position in the digital asset market.

Oobit provides a fast and easy Tap &amp; Pay crypto experience. The app guarantees that merchants get fiat currency, even if the payments are made in <a href="https://coingape.com/tether-cto-paolo-ardoino-ripple-chief-brad-garlinghouse-usdt-remarks/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">USD₮</a>. 
This integration will increase the practical use of cryptocurrency as a payment method, making it a valid and widely accepted option.
Amram Adar, the CEO of Oobit, said that they aim to enable people to use digital assets completely. He emphasized that the cooperation provides unbanked individuals access to famous cryptocurrencies and worldwide payments through Oobit.

Concurrently, the TON Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that promotes the decentralized substitute of the traditional Internet by means of blockchain technology, plays an important role in this collaboration. 
The TON blockchain’s alliance with Telegram allows USD₮ and soon XAU₮ on TON, providing a straightforward, borderless service for the user base of <a href="https://coingape.com/telegram-founder-holds-millions-in-bitcoin-fiat-here-why/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Telegram</a> to make P2P payments. Victor Mendes, CEO of Business Development at Wallet, said that this partnership makes cryptocurrency available and simple to use. Through the integration of Toncoin into Oobit’s Tap &amp; Pay feature, millions of users can have an easy Web3 on- and off-ramp experience, which will accelerate the vision of widespread crypto adoption.
However, the <a href="https://coingape.com/toncoin-bags-hashkey-listing-brace-for-price-rally/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">TON price</a> has yet to react positively to the development, with the price dipping by 3.46% in the last 24 hours and exchanging hands at $6.74.
