<p>The BitMex co-founder noted that several macroeconomic factors will trigger an upcoming rise in prices. He particularly refers to US monetary expansion policies that have historically triggered increases in the crypto markets. According to the expert, “the major economies of the world will print even more money by, say, the next 18 to 24 months”.</p>
<p>Arthur Hayes believes that the next US presidential elections will serve as a catalyst in the financial market. For him, finance authorities are likely to ease monetary policies to favor President Joe Biden’s reelection.</p>
<p>He thinks they might be urged to “print money, borrow it, and distribute it to people in various forms,” since they control the government’s finances. A good portion of this money could end up in cryptocurrencies for speculation purposes.</p>
<p>So, if the crypto market is currently fluctuating, the next bullish phase should start in the coming months, more specifically in the summer.
