 The announcement of the IPO follows a series of strategic actions by Bitkub to secure its position within the competitive landscape of Thailand’s crypto industry. This includes the earlier sale of a 9.2% stake in Bitkub Online Inc. to Asphere Innovations Pcl for approximately 600 million baht ($16.5 million). Previously, there was also an attempt by SCB X Pcl, a major Thai financial entity, to acquire a majority 51% stake in Bitkub Online Inc., although the deal fell through due to regulatory hurdles.
 Moreover, the decision to list might have been accelerated by the entry of major industry players like Binance and Kasikornbank Pcl, both posing competitive threats to Bitkub’s dominance in the Thai market. This strategic move to go public is seen as a key step to safeguard Bitkub’s leadership role in the fintech world, according to statements from the CEO.
