 <p class="paragraph">In 2021, former President Donald Trump made no secret of his disdain for cryptocurrencies, describing them as ‘potentially a disaster waiting to happen’ and professed his appreciation for the good old American dollar.</p>
 <p class="paragraph">By 2024, the stance of the presidential candidate Donald Trump has seemingly undergone a radical change. Not only did the controversial billionaire release several rounds of self-inspired non-fungible tokens (NFTs) but has seemingly – much like his Republican party – embraced the crypto market.</p>
 <p class="paragraph">Indeed, on May 8, he openly discussed Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies – including the Jeo Boden (BODEN) meme coins – explaining he now accepts donations in digital assets and noting that his victory would benefit the crypto community far more than a defeat.</p>

 <p class="paragraph">Though it initially struggled a bit to set Trump’s changing stance on crypto in order, ChatGPT did conclude that, upon analyzing the most recent developments, a victory for the Republican candidate has a better chance of being bullish for BTC than not.</p>
 <p class="paragraph">According to the AI, the fact that Trump has turned pro-crypto, that his administration would likely seek deregulation, and that the community would – based on his statements and the Republicans’ reputation – anticipate a lenient regulatory climate, Bitcoin could indeed surge significantly.</p>

 <p class="paragraph">it is interesting to note, however, that ChatGPT initially misidentified BTC’s highs as near $64,000 though, once corrected and informed that Bitcoin <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="price" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/price.html">price</a> today stands at $61,015 after a 1.22% daily decline, as well as that it hit a new all-time high (ATH) near $73,000 in March, little change in the <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="Category Analysis" href="https://thebittimes.com/analysis.html">Analysis</a>.</p>
 <p class="paragraph">The AI, however, did update its Trump victory <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="price" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/price.html">price</a> target for the coin to a range between $80,000 and $90,000.</p>

Along with broader factors that can affect cryptocurrency <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="price" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/price.html">price</a>s, the AI singled out the fact that it is common for politicians not to follow through on their campaign promises, meaning that regulatory uncertainty might persist under Trump.</p>
