There are ventures associated with famous companies within cryptocurrencies. For example, Worldcoin, founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, is one of them. Sam Altman is a very interesting and key figure for the company. OpenAI is a key company in the field of artificial intelligence technologies. The common aspect of this duo is WLD Coin. Every step taken by OpenAI, which is in the focus of major <a href="https://finance.coin-turk.com/" data-wpel-link="external" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer">investors</a> like Microsoft, also reflects on the WLD Coin chart. 
If everything is understood so far, we can move on to the main topic. Recently, rumors were circulated by OpenAI, the parent company of ChatGPT, that a new search engine would be launched. 
The rumors started earlier this month with artificial intelligence researcher Pete Huang hinting on social media about the planned launch of “search(.)chatgpt(.)com” on May 9th. This news attracted investors’ interest, triggering a speculative rise with the expectation that demand for Worldcoin would increase.

Crypto currencies are significantly influenced by rumors. Especially the claims made about WLD Coin found buyers easily due to its organic ties with Sam Altman, making it not difficult to rationalize the double-digit price increase. Worldcoin’s market value increased by 44% at the beginning of May. 
Despite Warren Buffett’s statements that AI technology facilitates illegal financing, the rise in WLD Coin continued. Daily trading volumes also showed a significant increase of 134% yesterday, and demand was lively. At the time this article was prepared, the price was one dollar below the peak of $6.54 on May 6th. 
On May 6th, Trader Cryptosahintas announced a price target of $16 for WLD.
