The Mode price skyrocketed by 4,705% in the last 24 hours to trade at <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mode/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$0.04789</a> as of 3:30 a.m. EST on trading volume that surged by 14,678% to $38.98 million.
The project’s price skyrocketed due to plenty of developments surrounding the new MODE token. The token recently saw numerous new listings, including CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, Gate.io, MEXC, and Bitget.

MODE also recently concluded its first airdrop, only to <a href="https://twitter.com/modenetwork/status/1787482516833669532" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">announce</a> the start of Season 2, the next round. In a separate post, Mode explained that season 2 started on May 5, and will run until September 6 of this year.
The project has made 500 million MODE tokens (5% of its total supply) available to users, with up to 1 million in OP token incentives. The project’s token runs on its native MODE network, and right now, Mode is working on developing its ecosystem, partnering with other projects, and onboarding as many developers as it can attract.
Its goal is to become one of the largest networks and players in sectors like DeFi, with the long-term aim of building new systems for growth powered by the Mode ecosystem.

<h2 id="mode-price-prediction">Mode Price Prediction</h2>
Mode price saw a massive price surge following its launch, only for its value to then drop as MODE went through a major correction. The price was pumped by the airdrop, multiple listings, massive exposure, and the project’s plans to grow its ecosystem.
However, once the price surge reached the ceiling, the token entered into free fall. Even now, with the price crashing down as seen on the chart below, its value is still significantly higher than at the moment of launch, making it a worthwhile investment for early buyers.
It is difficult to say what will happen next, but there are some signs that hint at a potential recovery, such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) value, which reached the oversold zone in the last few hours.
Typically, once the RSI sinks as low as to the value of 35, it is considered oversold, which might push many toward buying it in expectation of another surge.

However, it is equally possible for the drop to continue, or for the price to stabilize. The project’s Bollinger bands suggest that the bearish sentiment might continue for a while, as they saw significant narrowing compared to their earlier performance.
Right now, MODE has been out for a very short period of time and has not yet stabilized following the extreme events of the last 24 hours.
The price can change during this period, so traders need to monitor it and try to react accordingly. There is not enough historical data to make accurate long-term predictions, and the price is still subject to great changes as it has yet to shake off the extreme volatility that tends to happen post-listing.
