<p>Dorsey announced his departure on X itself, the platform that was once Twitter. He used this opportunity to promote his new philanthropic initiative funding open internet protocols, which he enthusiastically dubbed “freedom technology.” Interestingly, he also included X in this category, suggesting a newfound appreciation for the platform under Musk’s leadership.</p>
