Moonbirds, one of the recent NFTs to be acquired by NFT giant, Yuga Labs, plans to <a href="https://twitter.com/moonbirds/status/1785020086979547358" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="external">introduce </a>a major shift in its copyright policy. This means that Moonbirds owners will now have exclusive rights to commercialize their NFTs, replacing the previous CC0 copyright policy that allowed free commercialization.

Moonbirds named a transition to commercial rights in their recent press release, which is related to their existing community projects including Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks run by Yuga Labs.&nbsp; 
This take about-face comes on the heels of a CC0 copyright licence which was previously adopted by Moonbirds in 2022. This license allowed third parties to copy, display, distribute, and make derivative and commercial use of the CC0 goods. 
The Moonbirds not only preserves the copyright policy but also reconsiders the art directions. This implies making 3D avatar robots for animations and adding them to our Yuga Labs’ Otherside metaverse which could be someday. The Moonbirds mission is to ensure that tangible collectibles are brought onto the platform that will stimulate the community and facilitate the connection between the physical and digital realities.
