<p>Do you wonder why it is trending? Here is a deep dive into the current happenings between Israel and Palestine and the hand played by the United States of America.</p>

<p>Yet again, another heartbreaking incident unfolds in Gaza. Rescuers are currently recovering bodies from the rubble following an Israeli air strike on a residential building in southern Gaza’s Rafah city. Meanwhile, a short distance from Khan Younis, the ongoing task of exhuming bodies from mass graves at the Nasser Hospital is taking place.</p>
<p>Since October 7, there have been a significant number of casualties in Gaza due to Israeli attacks. The number of casualties in Israel resulting from Hamas’s October 7 attacks is 1,139, and there are still several individuals being held captive in Gaza. In addition, there is a dire situation in Gaza, where 1.1 million people are facing extreme levels of food insecurity.</p>
<p>Experts have observed that a campus protest movement in the United States, which is focused on Gaza, has brought to light a clear generational divide on Israel. It is evident that American youths are demonstrating their readiness to question politicians and college administrators, and this trend is being observed across the country.</p>
<p>Some argue that the divergence in opinions, particularly among younger Americans who tend to be more supportive of Palestinians compared to previous generations, could potentially impact 81-year-old Democratic President Joe Biden’s chances of re-election. It may also pose a risk to the bipartisan support that Israel receives in <a href="https://twitter.com/TorahJudaism/status/1783876205600477218" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Washington.</a></p>

<p>Many students are calling for greater transparency from their universities regarding their investments, specifically urging them to divest from weapons manufacturers and companies associated with the Israeli military.</p>
<p>Accusations of fueling anti-Semitism have been vehemently denied by the students, despite being made by politicians from both major US parties, as well as the White House and pro-Israel groups.</p>

<p>The label of being a “rogue state” has a controversial past. For quite some time, it has been used as a weapon against states that are seen as opposing Western political interests. The term gained popularity during the Clinton era, as it was applied to nations perceived as unpredictable, stubborn, and resistant to conforming to global standards.</p>
<p>Israel is able to maintain its behavior and disregard for international laws, regulations, and norms due to its strong alliances, such as the US in the West. Considering the extensive history of human rights violations against Palestinians, it is crucial for the international community to recognize Israel’s actions and hold them accountable.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Given the recent suspension of arms sales to Israel by countries such as Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain, and Belgium, it appears that there is a growing acknowledgment of its questionable behavior. Hopefully, the United States will eventually reconsider its support for Israel, leading to the eventual liberation of Palestine.</p>
